Athletes – If you want to participate with a Unified Partner, you may choose someone you already know or you can request to be paired up with a Unified Partner joining us from New Hampshire Law Enforcement, Fire Departments, SONH Board of Directors, Concord Orthopedics staff or folks from the community who are interested in improving their overall fitness while building a meaningful connection!

Expectations for Step it Up and Get Fit Participants
- For athletes and Unified Partners participating together
- Get together once a week in person to exercise together leading up to Gateway to Running race series
- Ongoing communication to check in on each other, hold one another accountable.
- Exercise and track training progress weekly
- Commit to six-month challenge (July – December)
Phase 1: Train
Exercise (running, walking, hiking, biking or however you choose to move!) ~10 weeks in preparation for the Gateway to Running series beginning in August.
Phase 2: Race
Register for and participate in at least 3 of the 4 Gateway to Running series races listed below. Register for the challenge and you will receive a code for FREE Entry! *** Can’t make it to the races in person? No problem! Do them at home!!
- August 17th – Boot Scoot’n Boogie Race in Londonderry (5k) – REGISTER HERE
- September 8th – Seafood Fest Race in Hampton (5k) – REGISTER HERE
- October 26th – Trick or Trot Race in Manchester (3k)- REGISTER HERE
- December 15th – Yule Light up the Night Race in Loudon (2-miler)- REGISTER HERE
