Law Enforcement Training: Effective Police Interactions with Youth
December 2, 2020 @ 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
The free one day class for officers is hosted by Nashua Police Dept. and NH SAG. The training is designed to reduce the likelihood that interactions between police officers and young people will have negative outcomes and/or result in police action, particularly for minority youth.
The course will be instructed by Nashua Police Lt. Carlos Camacho who is a member of the State Advisory Group on Juvenile Justice and is the State and Local Chairman of the Ethnic Racial Disparities Committee.
Each attendee will receive a certificate of completion good towards the 8 hours of the annual training requirement per PSTC standards, as well as mandatory training for all SRO’s in New Hampshire.
This free training session is sponsored by the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics New Hampshire. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the 36-year partnership between the NH Law Enforcement Community and SONH raising funds and awareness in the Granite State.
Space is limited, please register by Sunday, November 29th.
