Step It Up & Get Fit Presented by Concord Orthopedics
Register now, on your own or with a friend, for our next exciting fitness challenge! We are inviting Special Olympics New Hampshire Athletes and Unified Partners to team up to Train, Track and Race with us! We are expecting the athletes and Unified Partners to:
- Get together once a week in person to exercise together leading up to Gateway to Running race series
- Ongoing communication to check in on each other, hold one another accountable.
- Exercise and track training progress weekly
- Commit to five-month challenge (July – December)

SONH – 2024 Millennium Racing Charity of Choice
Bedford-based Millennium Running has named SONH as their official charity for 2024. The new partnership will allow runners participating in any or all of the 14 Millennium Running Charity Events to support SONH athletes and services we provide as part of their registration. SONH staff and volunteers will attend the 14 races to provide information about the more than 60 local programs and 75 school-based programs in the state. Additionally, SONH athletes will participate in many of these events, be sure to be on the lookout!

Delta Dental Mount Washington Road Race
On Saturday June 15, 2024, runners from all over the world will begin the grueling 7.6 mile run up the Auto Road at Mount Washington. This year, SONH Board Chair Eric Tinker and athlete Charlie Helfrich fundraising efforts will take them to the summit of the highest peak in the Northeast.

SONH Ran the 128th Boston Marathon™
SONH athlete, Liam McNeil, will be running in the Boston Marathon™ in 2024 representing SONH athletes. Brian Allard is the Assistant Director of the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office will be partnered with Liam, and the duo will be running Boston as a fundraiser for Special Olympics New Hampshire.

“Running For Special Olympics” is comprised of a fitness program designed to encourage SONH athletes to run on their own or take part in organized races around the state and a series of fundraisers related to running events.
