The 2025 State Golf Competition will offer competition in:

• Unified Alternate Shot Team Play in 5, 9, and 18 holes
• Unified Aggregate Shot Team Play in 18 holes
• Individual Stroke Play in 9 and 18 holes
• Individual Skills competition

You will register for the 2025 State Golf Tournament in Agon using the registration timeline below.

EVENT INFORMATION

TENTATIVE ORDER OF EVENTS

• 7:15AM                Local Program Check-in

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Lunch will be provided.
• Unified teams must golf together during practice rounds.
• Training is an important part of athlete growth in both skill development and overall physical fitness.  Special Olympics New Hampshire encourages teams to train twice a week for 10 weeks prior to the State Tournament, with one practice focusing on sport specific training and one practice focusing on fitness (cross training etc.) to allow for optimal performance and readiness at the State Tournament.
• If the event is cancelled, it will not be rescheduled.  LPC, Secondary LPC, and Head Coach for each team will be notified via phone by 6:00am on the day of the event.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

During the registration process, we will communicate with the primary LP contact, head coaches, Local Program Coordinator, Secondary Local Program Coordinator, Communications, and Compliance contacts.

INTENT TO PARTICIPATE (TELL US YOU’RE COMING)

By January 3^rd, 2025

• Please enter the primary Local Program contact for the tournament as well as the Head Coach (these may be the same or different people). 
• Give us an estimate of the number of athletes participating.  We are looking for a rough estimate for planning purposes only, this number can change as you move through registration.

PRESEASON VIDEO CALL

July 22^nd, 2025 at 7pm

• We will discuss:
  • The season
  • Events that will take place
  • Rules
  • High-level overview of the events.

FIRST PRACTICE SHOULD BE HELD BY

August 5^th, 2025

COMPLIANCE (TELL US WHO IS COMING AND DEAL WITH PAPERWORK)

Now until September 10^th, 2025

• No athletes, unified partners, head coaches, coaches or LPVs may be added to your roster after the compliance period ends.
• New athletes must be recorded in Agon.
• If you would like your registration from a prior year flipped into this year, please email Deb.
• By the end of the compliance period, all athletes, unified partners, head coaches, coaches and LPVs must be compliant (showing as green in Agon).

REGISTRATION (ENTER EVENTS, QUALIFYING SCORES, LEVELS, TEAMS & MEALS)

September 11^th to 17^th, 2025

• All athletes and unified partners must be registered for event specific information (event, level, qualifying score and team, if applicable).
  • Team Name should be names of the golfers (ie: “Carleton & Conroy” or “B Carleton & M Conroy)
• Enter the qualifying score as the average score the athlete/team typically plays in the field in Agon. 
  • Please email the course name, slope and index to Deb for use in equalizing scores to determine divisions.
• Number of meals must be entered:
  • Local Programs will be assessed at a rate of $10 for each additional meal requested. Number of additional meals are calculated as outlined below:
    • (# of meals requested) -(# of athletes + # of LPVs) * (# of meals offered)

SCRATCH (UPDATE QUALIFYING SCORES, REMOVE PEOPLE)

September 18^th to 24^th, 2025

• Local Programs will be assessed for each athlete and volunteer registered at the end of the scratch period.
  • Individual Skills Assessment: $60
  • 5 Hole Assessment: $60
  • 9 Hole Assessment: $70
  • 18 Hole Assessment: $80

COACHES VIDEO CALL

October 6^th, 2025 at 7pm

  • Draft final schedule

FINAL INFORMATION

October 9^th, 2025

• Final order of events and any follow up information required after the coaches video call will be distributed.
