How to Start a Schools Program

Imagine a school where no student is excluded, no student is bullied, everyone is welcomed, and a positive culture is created based on individual strengths and respect for diversity. That’s where Unified Champions Schools® comes in.

Unified Champion Schools® programming is broken up into four components:

• Inclusive Sports and Fitness
• Inclusive Youth Leadership
• Whole School Engagement
• Sustainability

Where to Start

• Assemble your Leadership Team – the team should include at least 2 liaisons (one sport contact and one non-sport contact), the principal and a Unified pair of students (one athlete and one partner).
• Decide which of the 3 components of the UCS strategy you want to implement.
• Fill out the Schools agreement to get started (found on our Unified Champion Schools page!)
