Our Intellectual property rights
SONH owns or is licensed to use all intellectual property rights in and to this Web site and all technical infrastructure (the software) relating to it. If you breach any of these terms your permission to use this Web site and any materials or content included in it, automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloads or printed extracts from this Web site.
Access to and use of this Web site
In accessing any part of this Web site, you agree:

Users of Photos and Video
If you are granted permission to log-in and access the Web site to download photos and videos and text (the Material) , you may do so only for the purpose of advertising and promoting the mission of Special Olympics; to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities (the Purpose).
Material contained in this Web site may accordingly be downloaded, viewed and printed for use in the media, including print, broadcast and electronic media provided that Special Olympics is attributed as the source and no trade mark, copyright or other proprietary notices contained in or appearing on such material are removed in whole or in part.
Material must not be reproduced or exploited for commercial gain but only in pursuance of the Purpose. All other rights are reserved and users must seek SONH’s permission before making any other use of material contained in this Web site.
You shall be responsible for obtaining all authorizations, consents and releases and pay all compensation required by applicable collective bargaining or individual contracts or otherwise required by law.
Your use of the Materials shall not be derogatory to or critical of Special Olympics, Special Olympics athletes or any officer, director, agent, employee, or affiliate of SONH. The Material shall not be altered in any fashion except as expressly authorized by SONH in writing.
You shall indemnify and hold harmless SONH, its officers, directors and employees from all loss, cost, damage, liability and expense, and reasonable attorneys’ fees that SONH may incur by reason of your use of the Material in any manner not authorized by these Terms of Use.
You shall have no rights to the intellectual property or the software, or any enhancements or modifications thereto, provided to you in order to access the Web site materials. You may not sublicense, assign or transfer any licenses granted by SONH, and any attempt at such sublicense, assignment or transfer shall be null and void.
Users who are posting and submitting material
SONH may at its discretion allow users to upload or post content to individual user pages or to certain areas of the general Web Site (each a Submission). SONH may in its sole discretion decide whether or not to use a Submission. SONH is hereby licensed to edit, change and remove all content posted to the Web site. You represent, warrant and agree that you will not provide any Submission which is subject to the rights of another person without first obtaining their express authorization and that you are responsible if your Submission injures another person.
